Scrap (kabadi wala) registration

Hi friends,

can any one of you please tell me that where is a scrap dealer required to get register.

he is doing this business as a sole proprietorship firm does not want to convert in partnership or LLP or company.

just want to get his work register so that can procure contarcts from big companies regarding scrap or waste.
