even i have been through this, tax used to be my fav but i secured b/w 45-50 marks, which was very disappointing.
later, on discussing the same with my teachers, i concluded that we know all the concepts but their presentation makes a huge difference.
clarity in presentation is very important, try to solve the ques the way they are being solved in practice manual and rtp's...
keep ur workings clear and provide the notes at the end.

Hi,
Usually most of the students keep their focus on arriving at the answer by paying less attention to the manner how they have arrived the answer.
Quoting Sections, step by step analysis of the answer helps you to gain marks.
While arriving at the answer, take proper care that you dont present those points which clashes with the earlier or subsequent points.
That is the reason, why following practise manuals is must. Students should mainly concentrate on how the answer has been arrived mainly while going through practise manuals.
