SCN - Query related GST registration of Pvt Ltd. Co.

Dear Experts,

I am trying to do GST registeration of Pvt Ltd. Co.

I have been served with SCN showing requirement as below:

State Specific Information - State Specific Information - Others (Please specify) - Online Electricity bill verification process not successfully completed on BO portal. Please complet the process. Pending for validation (electricity information not uploaded)(please insert consumer number of first 9 digit instead of CA number)

Please guide how to resolve this issue.

Step 1: Understand the Issue The issue is related to the online electricity bill verification process on the GST portal. The system is unable to validate the electricity information, and you're required to upload the consumer number (first 9 digits) instead of the CA number.

Step 2: Gather Required Information Collect the following: 1. *Electricity Bill*: Obtain a copy of the electricity bill for the premises. 2. *Consumer Number*: Note down the first 9 digits of the consumer number mentioned on the electricity bill.

Step 3: Update Electricity Information 1. *Login to GST Portal*: Log in to the GST portal with your credentials. 2. *Navigate to Registration*: Go to the "Registration" tab and click on "Amendment" or "Pending for Validation". 3. *Update Electricity Information*: Enter the correct consumer number (first 9 digits) in the "Electricity Information" section.

4. *Upload Documents*: Upload a copy of the electricity bill as proof. Step 4: Verify and Submit 1. *Verify the Information*: Double-check the entered information for accuracy. 2. *Submit the Update*: Submit the updated information and documents..
