You can claim tuition fee deduction on full time classes for School, Regular College, Full time MBA etc.

i think those expenditure must be incurred for children only.....not for self.....am i rite?

yes vishu, it is allowed for any degree or any course, condition is the institution is govt approved and not coaching class, upto any age of children( maximum two children) is allowed.

the proviso to sec 80c clearly states that children education fees, where by an assessee can not claim his/her personal fees for any type of education. the words used are "children education fees" and not the "education fees" only.
