So friends here it is how to activate Hibernate option in windows-7
Follow step by step
(1) First of all, click on the start button and enter cmd.exe into the search field. Right-click on cmd.exe and click “Run as administrator”. (It is the run command in Window-Xp)
(2) Now type the following command in opened box in the given format
powercfg /hibernate on
Now enter and cose the box. (Here you have run the Hiberante comand)
In order to enable Hibernation in Windows 7, you have to disable hybrid sleep first. To do that open up the Control Panel and click on “Power Options”: (If it is enabled by defualt)
Click on “Change Power Plan Settings”:
Click on “Change advanced power settings”:
Uncollapse “Sleep” – “Allow Hybrid Sleep” and select “Off” from the dropdown:
After you followed the instruction above, you successfully enabled hibernation and the hibernation button should be display when you click on the little shutdown arrow on the Start menu:
Note: I have not tested the above commands as I am not a window 7 User. But I have studied the above commands carefully and posted so, I am sure that will work.
