SAP or Oracle?

I am a CA final student(awaiting results).

During my audits i have realized the importance of ERPs like SAP and Oracle in companies as well as KPO's.

I would like to get myself certified soon.Since both these courses cost around 1.8 to 2.2 lakhs, i think i will be able to be able to attend only one course.

I would like to get your opinion about wether getting certified in SAP or Oracle is better for a CA.?Which has a better scope if i wan to get into implementation part of the ERP in my future?

SAP- FI/CO or Oracle 11i/12r

Be it any of the above application. Every company gets these packages implemented as per their needs of business.

I have worked with a construction company on Oracle 11i and now i'm working with a BPO on same Oracle 11i. Only the basic of Oracle remain the same, rest every thing changes.

So i don't think shelling out upto 2lakh for basics of these application sounds feisable.

Hi Friends,

Oracle is a good career choice, but compartively career in ERP, SAP is much better than Oracle. In oracle can choose other various platform like database handling and creation. If you want to be an financial cusultant then SAP is best for this.
