SAP
(A German based ERP Worldwide defined as “System Application and Product”)
SAP is an ERP i.e. ‘Enterprise Resource Planning’. It’s basically for the automation of all the modules with the integration considered from end-to-end. ERP basically contains several modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Finance, HR, Production and more. Some extra modules can be provided as per the user requirements called ‘add-ons’ (e.g. Fixed assets).
There are many ERP’s in the market but about SAP, totally secure, Prompt (for data entries as well as reports), can easily integrate with the new add-ons.
Depends on the Industries requirement, Sap have developed many packages according to size and nature of industries. There are mainly three types of SAP which are used in Indian industries as:
· SAP R3
· SAP A1( All in One)
