Sales return in GSTR 1 in case of change in Constitution

Dear sir,

I had been registered as proprietor under GST since July 17. In June 18 I got registered as LLP due to change in Constitution of business. I sold goods under proprietorship and received sales return under LLP. Now how should I record sales return in GSTR 1 as original invoice is under proprietor ship and return against same invoice is under LLP.

If you have not surrendered your earlier GSTIN (proprietorship) then show it in proprietorship and file the returns. Else raise a credit note in this GSTIN, the government is not entitled to keep that tax anyway.

At the tym of surrender ...Have you transferred your closing stock to LLP name by filing ITC 02.???

First At the time of Proprietor to LLP

You have Transfer Closing Stock by filling Form as mentione Mr. Pritesh Sir

In Your case its not a Sale Return Because

Propritor and LLP are two different Entity

So My Opinion its Not treated as sale Return
