In case of sales return , should I take this sales return in our vat return even vat not effective since it pertains beyond 6 months? i.e. goods return in the m/o Mar.09 which was actual sold in the m/o May.08 for Rs. 1 lac.

In the case of VAT return, goods returned during the current month should be taken in to account irrespective of date of sale of such goods.
