In this bill Vendor or Lessor charge Cst @ 12.5% on rent,
What is rule for cst on rent.

Hello Mr Umesh ,
As the Govt Consider the Leasing of machine as Deemed sale, ok so govt collect sales tax on the same, so the person who rented the machine to u charge sales tax in the bill of rent of machine,
as far the charging of CST 12.50% in the bill it means that the person / organisation from whom u took the machine on rent is from other state.
