Sale of immovable property acquired by will
Property acquired by will & only registry of previous owner available. How can we claim cost of making property as it was made in 1996. How can we claim indexed cost of acquisition of construction. As no other proof of construction is available. Pls reply asap

Since no details regarding cost of construction is available, relevant market value during year 1996 can be considered as cost of acquisition and relevant index can applied.
