It is gross income.
TDS is one such tax which is paid in advance.
Like in Bus/ pro we dont deduct adv tax paid for calculation of taxable profit.

gross income to be shown as income & will be written on place of salary because TDS is deductible on Gross Amount & will be allowed as advance tax .
So Only Gross Income should be written.
