One of my client is railway employee and hold one truck on his name also. We wish to club both income in itr.
My query is if we add us 44ae income(any impact on his
employment becoz they can't do any work)
If we add as other source of income than his freight receipt of truck can not justify.
Please advise

As such he cannot do any business, while on service, is well known fact......
& the planning should have been done while purchasing truck itself ......... that ..to give it to any of relative on rent, so he/she can run transport business.......
No I can't because charging section is different meaning one is governed by salary and other is by PGBP so

My question is a person is a government employee and running a proprietorship business, so what kind of ITR form he will be filled or what is the other option?
As per IT act you can declare any other income, be it business income........
Question arises ........ whether the employee is allowed to do such business as per employment contract ???
If yes, file itr 4......

can we file ITR4 ?
For only salary income ITR1 or ITR2 is sufficient.
But if you wish to declare income u/s.44AE alongwith salary, File ITR4 ..
