RFA of a building furnished on which employer pays municipal tax on 60000 p.a... And furniture value 120000...what will b the treatment of municipal tax
This is covered under the head 'Income from House Property'.Municipal taxes are the local taxes paid to local authority and should be borne by the employer.If so,it should be reduced from Gross Annual Value U/s 23
