if i take it as a case study, i find that it is down time for him. He should give chance to others. Nobody can say him to retire because his vast achievements. But we should look at future instead of past. I respect him but change is rule of life.

no i do not agree,he is not blocking youngsters place like rahane etc as rahane can be accomadated in some other position, may be yuvraj singh etc,but sachin is irreplaceable, agreed he is not playing well now,but he should not be forced to retire as he has done so much for India and world cricket, now people will suggest ponting case, but friends that is australia and you had ponting's replacement, sachin who will replace?...he is working hard even after achieving everything in cricket,he is working hard like anyother youngster, may be more also as he is dedicated for past 23 years,no one can be that dedicated for a particular thing, still now we have not replaced vvs and dravid though pujara is good, but still raw, kohli is not consistent in tests, already we lost vvs and dravid, now if sachin leaves then these youngsters will miss such a big mentor,he should play till southafrica series, definitely sachin is always an asset to any team,as a respect for this man who dedicated whole life to cricket deserve that, sachin himself will make way out if he comes across any deserving youngsters, still no one is up to that mark, when sachin started his career at 16 there was such an impact he left that he forced his way into the team, now show me any youngster from this ipl era that dedicated,i can give more such examples, plz give the man the deserved respect, let the youngster learn from him first and come at least 50% of his ability before talking as i know same people who are asking for sachin's retirement will start criticising these youngster when they fail in one or 2 tests, such is the pressure this man sachin has faced in his entire life.....he will come good soon, how many CA make way for youngsters when they have earned so much in life, infact no one........stupid ex cricketers who cannot digest sachin's achievement talk nonsense about his technique dedication etc...his father died next day he turns up for India in a world cup match...that is dedication....enjoy the moment till he calls it a day......you cannot find another sachin.....so this day 12/12/12 enjoy sachin at his last few matches of his career.....im sure he won't dissapoint you all for long.

He knows better than anyone else, as to when he has to retire!!!
And the announcement is just round the corner; it might come at any time; he once said, "I'm 39 now and hence not plenty of cricket is left wit me; so these are the last few glimpses of his, which we are privileged to watch. So just enjoy them and have a great time!!!
One of my dreams is meet him atleast once in my life and talk for 5 minutes!!!
