Hello Everybody,

Can anyone help me in knowing "who are eligible to avail exemption upto Rs. 4.0 Lacs for Service Tax ? " and "when exemption is not eligible ?"

Every service provider is eligible for the 4 Lakh exemption provided

his gross receipt from taxable service in the preceeding year does not exceed Rs 4 Lakhs.(refer 6/2005 ST dated 1 March 2005)
