Dear friends, why are you worrying from the month of Feb itself.   There is another one more month to start worrying.  Be happy.  There was increase in firms allotted with branch audit by 800 comparing to the year ended 31.3.14.  If it is so, there will not be any need of more than 15000 to 16000 firms for this year concern.  Unless any reduction in the advance limit it is difficult to get branch audit for all the applicants.  There is talk going around that CA. Piyush Goyal is going to become the Finance minister soon.  Let us hope from him whether will he do something for our profession as he is also a CA

It looks very difficult that there will be reduction in the advance limits. It may arise again after few years. It will be good if the private sector branches are also included in SBA.

There is cut throat competition amongst Banks. Most Banks are interested in home loans  As far as commercial advances are concerned Banks which are reluctant to enhance the limits loses  their business because of Pvt sector banks looking for entry through multiple banking or take over. Banks generally favour in spreading the total risk amongst others and  keep own  exposure at lower levels. This facilitates entry of Pvt sector Banks who are keen to grab opportunities

Thank You for providing very useful statistics for financial 14-15. This year roughly 16000 eligible auditors will be there and round about 48000 branches to be audited. There is lot of talk about whopping NPA's in nationalised banks.

Dear Members,

All of a sudden many banks are declaring NPA s' in huge amounts after SBI declared NPAs based on RBI instructions.  How is it possible, since it is system generated and based on recovery and/or sectrity available. Does it mean all of a sudden recovery doubtful or security is not available. What happened to all the advances declared in preivous  audited balance sheets.  Please enlighen with your views on this.

Regards
