i havent paid lic premium in the year 2009
now i paid premium for both 20097 2010. can i claim deduction for for both 2009 & 2010 premiums paid u/s80c?????

Yes, you can claim for both the years.
LIC deduction will be taken on basis of date of payment. Not it relates to which year.
