I got running allowance 2500/- per month, annually-2500*12=30000/-
This is exempted or not from salary

I think only 30% is taxable. 70% is not treated as pay itself.

70% of the allowance received or 10000 p.m whichever is lower can be taken as exempt amount..rest is taxable..
