Pls find the solution below :
The defined issue happens because of the Java version. When you update Java it gets updated to Java 8 ( Your system might have done this automatically ). However, the latest RPU 4.4 is not compatible with Java 8.
So, for RPU 4.4 to function normally, you have to downgrade Java 8 on your system to Java 7 Java 7 is not available for download directly BUT only with account login ro Oracle Java website. That shouldn't be a problem as you can simply create an account ( no payment required ), proceed to download
Java 7. After downloading Java 7 and before installing it on your system, be sure to remove the Java versions installed on your system by using java uninstaller tool which you can get to following this link.
https://www.java.com/en/download/uninstalltool.jsp
Link to download Java 7
https://www.oracle.com/in/java/technologies/downloads/archive/
see Java SE downloads > Java SE7
After removing the existing Java version and installing Java 7, restart your system and then try FPU 4.4. Things should be fine.

@ Karthik Once you are done with the TDS filing, better you
1. remove Java 7 using Java uninstallation Tool
2. install Java 8 afresh
It is always better to have Java 8 on your system. It is just that the RPU 4.4 is not compatible with Java 8 and you needed Java 7
