Room rent
I am working in a hotel. What GST rate will be applicable if I charges Room rent from a guest Rs 2600 and Rs 2400 from another guest which comes regularly. Room category is same. Ours is a 3 star hotel, centrally air conditioned.

thanks, but confusion is still there. can we rent out same room on two rates and gst categories i.e. 12% and 18% as per sr no. 17 and 24. some say that higher of 2 will be applicable.
dev, in luxury tax u have to specified room no. with room rent . same as here u have to do under gst,then also if u charge different room rent for same room, pay their respective rates of gst
