We have booked hotel room to our customer so can we claim GST?

Section 17 of CGST Act does not specifically block the input tax credit on Hotel accomodation. However, if such bill contains any element of "food and beverages" as mentioned under Section 17(5), input tax credit to that effect should be reversed.
