My querry is that What are the role of Anti Evasion Team In Excise. I heared that they generally harass the assessee. What are the precautions should be taken when an anti evasion team visit to an assessee. Please guide me

Ask them to make entry in the visitors register. If you are an SSI units ask for authorisation letter and seek confirmation from the person who has issued the authorisation letter. 90% of the problem ends there.
