Once you remove java from ADD/REMOVE program in control panel and then install java again and try,
it may help

Uninstall the present java from you system and down load it again from mca web site again then you reinstal it . if you cannot download it from the mca web site as it gives may options to select they go to income tax website and then download it from their...
if you still face the same problem chek whether you have OS windows Xp-sp3....
