supplier makes invoice at selling price on godown without freight. buyer pays 20,000 freight for road transport. please reply on tax implications on this freight paid for buyer both in case of registered & unregistered GTA

As per my opinion, you have charge IGST in reverse charge in both cases whether GTA is register or not.

I take an example for you. if we bought good from delhi(07) and we are register in haryana (06) and GTA is from delhi. now we pay freight in delhi. so its an inter state transaction.
