rights to receive dividend from company/is there any regulations/rules/or sections or provisions says about shareholders right to waiving under companies act 1956 or 2013 act?pls suggest me.its urgent

The Articles of Association may provide the option to waive of dividend.
SUN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES LTD has followed the pratice of waiving of dividend in year 2012.

Yes Sir! I read One Blog where it mentioned about Sun Pharfamaceutical done this.But what my doubt without any legislation on part of waiving how did they practice the same

Kindly refer to Section 5(2) of Companies Act 2013 wherein the Company shall include additional matters in its articles which may be considered ncessary for its management.

Tyhank you for your Reply sir.I have following Doubt.As per Section 20 of Companies act 2013 in regard to service of documents,the provisions says the Documents may serve through registered post or Speed post or by courier service.But one of our shareholders asks for Speed post and some of them advising to pass special resolution on part of serving documents through speed post.i dont agree with this point.can you suggest me regarding this

If the Act has specified the modes of service of documents than the Company can follow the same,
Thus as per Section 20(2) if the member insists on delivery of document through a particular mode than he shall pay such fees as determined by the company
