No such provision noticed in last Union Budget i.e. 2008-09.

All the inputs details along with the quantity is required to be maintained.

RG 23 A - Inpur credit Details
RG 23 C - C G Credir Details
PLA - Personal Ledger Account
(RG 23 A & RG 23 C)
RG 23 A Part I for Stock.
RG 23 A Part II for credit.
Now this is self maintained records. no need to provide monthly basis when you debit details only with E.R.1. and AE Report (rule 57) for cenvat credit details.
