Today i tried to file RFD-01A for refund of ITC on export of goods without payment of tax for the period Aug-Sept 2017. Instead of asking for statement-3, the system asked verification details i.e. Name of Person and OTP etc and after verification, the application is filed and generated ARN # showing "This is an application receipt for Nil Filing Refund application RFD-01A filed by you at the common portal"
I had selected correct application and period for claim of ITC but i don't know as to why application is generated for Nil amount.
Can anyone explain this please ?
