Can a tax audit report once submited together with the IT return u/s 139 of ITAct be revised w/o filing a revised return?

What will b the relevant applicable provisions n procedure for the same?

IN MY OPINION THERE IS NO PROVISIONFOR REVISING INCOME TAXAUDIT REPORT AS THERE IS NO PROVSION FOR REVISING MAOCAR / CARO AUDIT REPORT.

Hi

in my opinion there is no provision for revisiion of tax audit report. but however, the items skipped in the audit report may be taken care of in the next year under the head pripr period items.

Hi Professional Friend

A TAX AUDIT REPORT U/S 44AB CANNOT BE REVISED WHETHER BALANCE SHEET CAN BE REVISED FILLED BY INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT BUT TAX AUDIT REPORT ATTACHED WITH THE BALANCE SHEET CANNOT BE REVISED.

Generally, there is no provision to revise the tax audit report. However , if the assessee change their financial statement , a fresh tax audit report on TECHNICAL REASONS mentioning the reason for changes and ealier tax audit report,. For example

Revision of accounts of company after its adoption in the annual general meeting.
Changes in law (eg) retrospective amendment
Change in interpretation (eg) CBDT circular, judgment etc

THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT TAX AUDIT REPORT ATTACHED WITH BALANCE SHEET AND FILED WITH INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT. FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION ONCE BALANCE SHEET WITH TAX AUDIT REPORT FILED WITH INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT FURTHER BALANCE SHEET CAN BE REVISED BUT TAX AUDIT REPORT U/S 44AB ATTACHED WITH THEM CAN NOT BE REVISED.

IN ANY CASE LIKE BEFORE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TAX AUDIT REPORT CAN BE REVISED IT IS MATTER OF OWN.
