My question is that should we prepare all balance sheets as per schedule VI..?(i.e; of partnerships etc)..??

Shedule VI provides format for Financial Statements of Companies and not for other forms of organisations such as partnership firms

Hi,
Only the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss A/c of a Company should be prepared as per Revised Scheducle VI as it is applicable only for companies and not for Sole Proprietors/ Firms etc.,

Revised Schdule vi is applicable only to companies incorporated under companies act and not to partnership etc, hence partnership final accounts need not be prepared as per revised sch vi.

Though Revised Schedule Vi is applicable for all companies. It is not applicable for Banking Companies and Insurance Companies in terms to proviso of Sec 211(1) and (2) of the Companies Act, 1956. For electricity companies the exemption is infructous, they need to use revised schedule Vi...

Schedule VI is applicable only to the companies as per Companies act, 1956.
It is not applicable to partnership or proprietorship.
