Can a revised return be filed for correcting a wrong address
If a person has already submitted his return of income and subsequently he discovers any omission or wrong statement therein, he may furnish a revised return for any previous year at any time before the expiry of 1 year from the end of the relevant assessment year or before the completion of the assessment.

Yes, it can be filed for correction of address. But it should not be a belated return.

s off course.. revised returns can be filed for any error or ommission made by the assessee in the previous or original returns.

YES , YOU CAN FILE REVISED RETURN U/S139 (5) ONLY IF ORIGINAL RETURN FILE U/S 139 1
