My return(ITR4) for AY 2015-16 is processed by IT department but now I want to revise it, can we revise ITR return online if it is already processed?  If yes than how? Is it same way we revise original return or there is any other procedure

139(5) If any person, having furnished a return under sub-section (1), or in pursuance of a notice issued under sub-section (1) of section 142, discovers any omission or any wrong statement therein, he may furnish a revised return at any time before the expiry of one year from the end of the relevant assessment year or before the completion of the assessment, whichever is earlier.

In your case return is processed by department that means assessment is completed then you can not revise your return.

Hello Kartik,

Meenakshi is Correct.

You can't File Revised Return after Completion of Assessment.

Thanks.

You still revise the return because there is difference between processing u/s 143(1) & assessment u/s 143 (3) and 148.
For revision of return it should be filled within the due specified u/s 139 (1). There is difference between 143(1) assessment and 143(3) assessment. After carefully reading that section i can still revise the return. For revision reason should be omission or wrong statemen.

I have filed return within due date u/s 139(1) and have got Intimation u/s 143(1). I have made some wrong calculation, now how can I ractify/revised such mistate. Can anyone pls tell details procedure. Thanks in Advance.

Other opinion for you is file online rectification. Next tym try to give exact situation so that you will get proper answer.
Yes you can revise because u/s 143(1), it is only intimation not a assessment
Bansal is correct. Bcz u got an intimation of ur return FY 2014-15. If any mistakes found in ur return u can make a rectification as per sec 154

If ITR V status shows that it is processed than also can we revised it. Please Advice!!
