Revised return filed incorrectly by ca

A tax consultant had asked a CA to file revised returns for a client, the CA filed original returns due to which the income tax department is not processing the refund for the client, for that year, and also refund for the AY 2016-2017. Please indicate the procedure to get the income tax returns updated properly for the client in the IT department records
