If I get a letter from Income tax Department to pay more 20Rs as my returned filed earlier is short by 20rs
Do I have to revise that return ?

No revised return. only tax payment of Rs 20/- which you can pay online also.

1. When demand for such a small amount arises there is no need for filing revised return.
2. Log in to your profile and click on "E file" and then to respond to "outstanding tax demand"
3. Go to the respective AY and click on demand is correct and fill in the details of payment made.
Please correct me if the above solution has an alternative view.
