One of my client has filed ITR-1 for a.y.2012-13 showing income from salaries but he was having business income also in form of LIC agency comission.
Now if he want to file the revised return how it can be done since he has filed ITR-1 & business income return has to be filed in ITR-4?
Pls suggest any remedy availiable.

If you dont want to file ITR 4 in his case, you can file ITR1 again showing LIC commission as income from Other sources. it will not be wrong policy in any kind.
also there is no problem in filing ITR 4 in case of revision of ITR1. Do any thing in your choice, both options are correct.
