A revised return substitute original return. If the original return is invalid, the revised return would also be invalid. This even if the revised return is e-verified.

1. Revised return will be in relation to the original return. It is revised return only because you have filed the original return.
2. So it would be prudent for you to e verify the original return first and then e verify the revised return.
3. Ultimately revised return alone will be considered as final by the IT authorities for its processing.
4. Better to verify both as it will take no time to e verify.
Please correct me if the above solution has an alternative view.
