Dear sir
My gross salary is Rs.532315 , Less; allowance to the extent exempt u/s 10 is Rs.8280,loss from house property is Rs.69470 , Deductions under 80C is Rs.84,596. so total income is Rs.369970 and tax on total income is Rs.16997 + Education Cess Rs.510 = Tax payable amount is Rs.17507.
My query is is it must for me to file returns, if must means whether i have to file e-filing only or i can do physical filing also. What is the criteria for must filing,is it the gross amount of 5 lakhs or only tax payable amount of 5 lakhs.. Please advice...
