good morning to all of you....
i have applied pan no on 16/03/2010. can i file ITR without pan number on base of "PAN APPLIED FOR" for asst. year
2009-10 before 31.03.2010 ?

ITR can not be filed without PAN. PAN is compulsory to be quoted.

Wait for sum time as PAN is alloted within a week..so u can see ur PAN in the website and quote in the return.

generally pan no has been shown on the nsdl site within 10-12 days so u just waite for some day

U Can File Return Without U Know UR PAN...
Just Check NSDL Site& Put UR Acknowledgement Number..........

some times nsdl site shows that ur request is in under process with income tax department. but actually pan have been alloted by department.. so for this conformation plz go to directorate of income tax site & go to services & goto know ur pan & then fill ur name & d.o.b.
normally within 4-5 day from date of application form pan is to be alloted by department...

you just check on tin-nsdl.com and check there status track of pan u wil get your pan number in a week than u can file your last 2 AY return before 31-03-10

return cannot be filed with pan ack no... u will get pan in a week after filing pan application

I think u should wait for some day mean while u can check ur PAN no from NSDL website, they r generally provide PAN within 15 days.
