Dear Sir / Madam,
I was working with manufacturing company, my taxable income was around 8 lacs. I resigned my job on Jan 2014 and still not joined any company and not earning and have no other sources of income. I had withdrawn my EPF in Jun 2014 , Total amount Rs.182100 was available in my EPF a/c. and received  Rs 1,20,000  payment and for that Rs.56272 deducted as TDS.  In FY 2014-15 I have not earned any amount from any other sources except EPF and superannuation Rs 35000.
But I have paid housing loan (interest Rs. 240000 and Prin:60000) and also some amount in 80cc. Can I file return to claim refund of TDS deducted. What are the documents required for that ? At present I have TDS certificate downloaded from incometaxindia site and I dont have form 16.
Need your advice.
Please guide me.

Regards,
S.Selvam

Yeah u can v well claim refund because your income will be within exemption limit. Since u have no salary income, no form 16 is applicable. In any case, on the basis of credit as per form 26as, u can claim refund even if u don't have TDS certificate. You need to download itr form from it website (form is still not available I think), fill d same n submit before 31st July
Yes,u shall file n claim tds in ur return if its refundable it will be refund to u..
I reg myself for e filling but I have no tax libilty to pay any tax it is compulsory to file rerturn
Yes it is compulsory if you want to claim refund

If a person is NRI during the financial year of his pf withdrawal, where tds has been made on the withdrawal amount,  how to file the return on which form ,to claim the tds amount of 1.05 lacs

Also whether 100%of tds will be refunded

All Above is ok ,

My Question is : From where and how I get my TDS Certificate , I did not recevive for the the money that deducted by PF authorites.

The website is very much poor with content and sitemap. I can not find link to download TDS Certificate for PF withdrawal deducted at source.

Help in this regards is much appreciated.

P.S: We are still digitally poor when it comes to even govt. portals . it is just voice which goes digital rest all is still analogue. :)

I agree with Poornimaji,

Details of TDS deduction is available on Form 26AS, you can confirm or get details about tds.

Even if you do not received form 16, you can submit your return

How many days does it take for the EPF withdrawal to reflect in Form 26AS after you have received the EPF money in your bank account? It's not reflecting in my Form 26AS as of now. Please advise.

I have withdrawn my PF balance Rs 8 Lac after 6 years of continuous service. Since I have contributed to PF and worked continuously for 6 years. I worked for 3 different employers over 6 years and always transferred my PF without withdrawing. I left my job in July 2017 and did not work in India after that in 2017-2018 FY. I should be exempt from the tax on PF withdrawal?
However, 10% TDS has been deducted on my PF. Plase advise on how to get it refunded.

Thank you in advance.

I have same question about TDs refund,my total income is 3 lakh after all increment under 80C,and my current tax liability after rebate of 2500,can I claim my 5000 rs as TDS refund
