Dear friends, A company having financial year 1st Jan to 31st dec balance sheet signed as on 31st March Then what is the date of return filling for this company.

Income Tax return filing Date remains same for all companies irrespective of its financial accounts...

the company will have to prepare FS for y.e 31 March for income tax purposes..

I agree with the answer of Mr. Naresh .

In this case period will be First 1st April to 31st Dec and another 1st Jan to 31st March of next year. Income tax chargeable on the basis of F/Y and F.Y year always follow Previous Year ,which will be always start from 1st April every year except initial stages.
