I got the registration in the month of March and I have decided to opt quarterly return filing as my turnover would be less than 1.5 cr
so do I want to file gstr 1 for the month of March.????

You will have to file NIL return for the period of Jan-March

Yes... GSTR 1 return required for the month of March....
You can select quarterly mode at the time of filling GSTR 1 return...
