17 February 2014Hi if an assessee lost his Tax Acknoledgment filed MANUALLY For A.Y.2012-13.
CAN HE FILE HIS RETURN AGAIN NOW ELECTRONICALLY(ONLINE) TO OBTAIN A FRESH TAX ACK.
IS IT ALLOWED AS PER INCOME TAX RULES/LAW.
(NOTE: Assessee does not have any data, copy, date of filing etc. of the return filied MANUALLY)

You can approach the AO for issue of copy of the acknowledgement by quoting the PAN number, You can get that details by the register maintianed by the IT Dept.,
