Resignation of a deceased director

Can any one tell me the procedure for filing the form 32 of a director who is deceased.

You have to mention the reason for cessation as death.

The guy is dead and we can't force his soul to give resignation... sorry just kidding.

No, you would not require any resignation letter.

You will have to attach copy of DEATH CERTIFICATE of deceased director.

As a matter of practice we attach death certificate and board resolution for taking note of cessation, in fact form 32 does mandate to attach death certificat and board resolution for taking note of cessation.

It is advisable in case of death to get the DIN of the deceased director disabled. for gettig the DIN disabled, contact the office of Regional Director, Northern Region, A-14, Section-I, PDIL Bhanvan, Noida (UP)
