I have a query that what is the difference from Taxability point of view between RNOR and NR

What I understand is that the only difference is

Income earned outside India out of a business controlled from India or a profession set up in India

RNOR:  Pay Tax

NR:     NO Tax

Please correct me If I am wrong, also suggest the difference of taxability between two.

You are correct . All assessees, whether resident or not, are chargeable to tax in respect of their income accured, arisen, received or deemed to accrue, arise or to be received in India whereas residents alone are chargeable to tax in respect of income which accrues or arisen outside India.

Dividend from ABC (P) ltd.=20000... ordinary resident, non ordinary resident, non resident.. all will be taxable or not
