dear sir, I was registered in the final course on11 feb 2011 and my first attemt was nov 2013 Is there any requirement of Reregistration? ? please help me for the abovementioned subject

Hello Neha, as per ICAI rules & notification, registration for ca final is valid for 5 years from the date of registration. In your case your registration is from 11.02.2011 and 5 years will expire on 10.02.2016. Hence if you are going to attempt may 2016 attempt then you are required to revalidate your registration.

No it is not online, it is to be subimitted by hand in ICAI.

Yes there is a fee of Rs 500 by the mode of DD in favour of ICAI

Reregistration in any of the CA Course may be required after 5 years of original registration, be it CPT, IPCE or Final. Accordingly Neha, you are eligible till the May 2016 attempt. In a case where your registration is put on hold due to completion of 5 years, the ICAI will send a letter to you stating such information before the results. You would have ample of time for re-registration process.
Regarding Fees, it is Rs. 500 for each such re-validation. There is, at this point of time, no method to pay fees of such kind to ICAI via online Bank transfer. In short, fees can be paid only by a draft in the favour of ICAI, delivered by hand or by courier at your regional centre.

Hi Friends, I had been registered before 2008. Due to my critical health condition I couldn't attend examination even a single chance. But now I want to attend it. I was going through all the above discussions where I realised that in my case I have to pay the revalidation fee of Rs.500/-. Because considering the gap of time it is needed.
In my case as it is a quite old and dormat issue what steps should I take in order to activate my registration and becoming eligible for attending examination ?
Specially what kinds of documents are required other than the form specified by CA Rahul Sharma and whether physical visit of the concerened regional council is required or not ?

@ NEHA: you can easily wait for icai's letter. there is no harm in that. at most, icai would send you a letter for revalidating your registration a month before your results after you have given your exams. ICAI would never stop from issuing your admit card. even if it does, then an opprtunity of being heard would be given and there would be ample of time to comeplete the re-validation process and you would, in any case be allowed to sit for your exam.
In short, concentrate on your attempt. Give your best. Don't worry for these small things.

@ KAMALKANTA: no personal visit is required to any branch or regional centre of ICAI. contact your regional centre via phone, ask them about the revalidation process, form, format and fees. they may not come accross a helpful lot over the phone, but they do not trouble the students too much. ultimately, all queries would be resolved.

@ KETAN KAPOOR JI: upto which date 5 years are counts... is it the date of "Filling the exam form"... OR it is "starting date of exams"????????
my registration date is 29/03/2011.... and i am going to appear in MAY-2016 (exams starts on 02/05/2016)..... i filled the form on 22/02/2016..... should i re-validate the registration.....????
upto 22/02/2016, i am within 5 year.... but on exam start date (i.e. 02/05/2016) i exceeded the 5 years.... please clarify.......
