Hi Vivevk,
Thanks a lot for your immd. respond!
We need to close the CIN (which is 'ACTIVE' online) for the company which has been dissolved in the year 2003 and not in operation now as we've given the papers for the closure, manually, that time. But my guess is that the CIN may be closed but in portal it shows as 'ACTIVE' because of the data mismatch. So, am planning to write to The Registrar, RoC, Chennai on this.
Please post your recommendations as well.
I've another query as well where I seek your immediate, prompt answer and it's as follows:
If suppose, we had run a Pvt Ltd. Company and it hasbeen formally renamed and also changed the registered office (RoC) within the local limits / state according to the Indian Companies Act, 1956 by referring 'Procedure for Change in Name & RoC' i.e., by filling up the FORM-1A , FORM18, FORM23 and other requisities, accordingly. But the CIN remains the same.
And now, we're able to see the new name of the company and the new registered ofice of the company by having the same Corporate Identification Number (CIN).
So, what happens to the previous land / area that we acquired?
Since the company has got shifted to a new registered office address / survey no at the RoC, is that the land previously acquired can be used for any other purpose and also, can we construct a new firm there?!
Or is that necessary to close the CIN to start a new firm in the old land (previously, acquired for the company where the company's RoC & Name got changed now)?
Looking forward to hear from you at the very earliest.
Thanks and Regards, Siva
