In new incometax portal how does Representative Assessee Login and file a return
My father died on 28th July 2020 and my PAN number has been registered with IT dept as representative assessee.
However I am unable to login using my father's PAN number because it has been disabled. When I login using my PAN number there is no option asking me if I want to file IT returns of my father
I am also facing this issue, but got no response/resolution so far.
Does anyone know if there is any resolution to this?
I have registered as a representative assessee, and on the old portal, I used to be able to login as representative assessed and access the other person's tax information. On the new portal, I still cannot do this and so I cannot file that person's tax return! The deadline set by the government to Infosys expires today, and yet this does not seem to have been fixed.
