I have invested in NCD of Shriram transport finance. The NCD is listed on the stock exchange. I receive interest monthly and no tax is deducted at source though the annual interest is more than rs.25000. the communication I receive from company states that the interest paid is as per section 193 clause IX.
please clarify how the interest received is to be reported?

Yes, report the interest income under the head income from other sources.
