HI .

Can repayment of housing loan taken in the name of spouse of the individual can be claimed as deduction u/s 80C while computing the total income of the individual???

say for e.g If housing loan s taken in the name of Mrs .X ,.....Can the principal repayment of loan can be claimed as deduction by Mr.X.?????????

I think if instalments are paid from the account of Mr. S then deduction is allowed, let's see others view.
