On March 2022 ,One NRI purchased house in india for residential purpose worth 1 crore and paid stamp duty of 20 lac. He also received one month rent 40k from a tenant who was living in that house before purchase. He lived one month and left the house. so what would be the tax treatment for rental income and tds for A.Y 2022-23 ?
I showed one month rental income net of 30% deduction under house property. For tds paid under sec 194ia in 26 as and stamp duty what would be right treatment ?
